Hi friends,
I AM BACK!
Almost three weeks of travel in the US lie behind me and I couldn’t be more inspired and motivated - there is just something about the American way of doing things, especially around brands, marketing and overall social interaction that makes you want to conquer the world. The round trip included stops in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and (my tech nerd dreams coming true) the Silicon Valley. It was the much needed boost for my brain after not having been there since five years. Hence now, I find myself as a new Santa Monica/East Village persona: not wearing mascara, with wavy blonde hair and craving physical movement everyday - plus an extensive array of supplements and protein powders on my kitchen counter, that fuel my utmost potential of health.
Since a few community members have reached out and asked if I can share their new projects, I will turn to regular programming as you know it and will prep the travel recap issues for those of you who are interested for a later date.

📚 BOOKS
“Tomorrow, And Tomorrow, And Tomorrow” by Gabrielle Zevin is as good as the best-selling numbers tell. Surprising on so many levels, encouraging to challenge thinking patterns about love, death and unbreakable bonds. It does read like a feature film, that is currently already being worked on.
Here is the summarizing excerpt from inside the book:
“This is not a romance, but it it about true love”
Two kids meet in a hospital gaming room in 1987. One is visiting her sister, the other is recovering from a car crash. The days and months are long there. Their love of video games becomes a shared world -- of joy, escape and fierce competition. But all too soon that time is over, fades from view.
When the pair spot each other eight years later in a crowded train station, they are catapulted back to that moment. The spark is immediate, and together they get to work on what they love - making games to delight, challenge and immerse players, finding an intimacy in digital worlds that eludes them in their real lives. Their collaborations make them superstars.
This is the story of the perfect worlds Sadie and Sam build, the imperfect world they live in, and of everything that comes after success: Money. Fame. Duplicity. Tragedy.Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow takes us on a dazzling imaginative quest as it examines the nature of identity, creativity, disability, failure, the redemptive possibilities in play and, above all, our need to connect: to be loved and to love.
