Beauty Straight after collagen climbing up the hype ladder, there is a next thew thing: Hydration! Or better: electrolytes. Moon Juice launched their “Mini Dew” with Watermelon while Cymbiotika goes even further with their “Healthy Glow” supplement, that was sold out in 24 hrs and contains Hyaluronic Acid but also Spermidine (you read that right) which mimics the process of fasting. Commerce That said product by Cymbiotika was launched in a live shopping session with the founder Chervin Jafarieh, announced with a celebratory newsletter. Reminded me of the new to the German market startup Whatnot that provides a platform for live shopping only - selling online seems to reach a next level (LINK livestream, LINK Whatnot)
Travel You might have heard of the globally present The Hoxton, Mama Shelter and the 25h hotels - they all belong to the Ennismore group. Making more of their brand conglomerate, they now launched the Disloyalty Club, where you pay 144 GBP/year and get decent discounts on newly opened houses, 20% your first stay of their 75+ locations, 10% off their food & drinks and (if you live close by) a free barista-made drink everyday of the year. Publishing Paramount, the owner of Simon & Schuster (my favorite, American publishing house) agreed to sell the publisher to KKR, a private equity firm, for $1.62 billion. "Jon Karp, chief executive of Simon & Schuster, said in an interview. “They plan to invest in us and make us even greater than we already are. What more could a publishing company want?” Crossing fingers that this means we can expect more high quality book deals in the future 🤞🏼 (LINK)
