Hi friends,
It’s the Berlin marathon! The energy in the city is always buzzing during these days, and I love the fact that everyone makes room for people to move and challenge themselves physically after training for this special day over weeks and months prior. Almost 48k runners signed up to participate this year, and they are basically passing my window as we speak. (Update: World record has been broken by Tigst Assefa and a 02:11:52 time stamp).
While Nike and Adidas always lead the battle around a fair market share amongst the desired target group, the “Runners. Yeah, We’re Different” campaign (LINK) was my all-time favorite. There is just something so special about making up your own rules while being out and about on your regular runs. The freedom, the individual downtime, the navigation through territory while exploring new corners and snatching new views.
Have a good start to the new week tomorrow,
Julia 🏃🏼♀️
